Knots seem simple—until one slips when you need it most. Whether you’re securing a shelter, tying down gear, or making a quick repair, the right knot can make all the difference. This hands-on class will teach you six essential knots every outdoorsperson should know: -Stopper Knots – Keep your rope from slipping -Binding Knots – Secure gear and shelters -Bends – Join two ropes together -Hitches – Tie off to objects quickly -Loops – Create secure anchor points What You’ll Need -Two 3-foot lengths of different-colored paracord (or similar rope) -A couple of sturdy objects to tie off to -Knife or scissors -Lighter or matches This class is designed for anyone—beginner or experienced—who wants to tie knots with confidence.
